SEVEN AMERICA FORD ZETEC RANGE
First produced for the European market, and later introduced here in the U.S., the Ford Zetec engine is an excellent and fitting choice for Seven power. It's dual overhead cam, 16-valve design offers a flat, responsive torque curve and excellent power tempered with reliability and smooth operation. All Caterham USA Zetec installations have been specifically designed for the Seven to offer optimal street and track performance.


Seven America Zetec SVT
The Seven America Zetec SVT package is developed around the Ford Focus SVT engine, which updates the Zetec to include variable intake cam timing and a dual stage manifold. By far the most popular engine we offer, this installation offers excellent low and mid-range torque while still providing thrilling top-end performance. In addition to the basic SVT engine, the package includes custom aluminum bellhousing, engine mounts, cast aluminum sump with baffle and windage tray, kit-ready engine wiring harness, annular clutch slave cylinder & release bearing with hardware, 9" clutch, 9.5 lb aluminum flywheel, Ford ECU with mounting hardware, front and rear O2 sensors, alternator, starter, water pump, coolant tubes & hoses, intake manifold, air snorkel, mass air flow sensor, and K&N high performance air filter. SEVEN AMERICA FORD DURATEC RANGE
The Ford Duratec 2.3L engine is the latest of long list of successful Ford four-cylinder engines. Unlike its predecessors, the Duratec has a full aluminum block, which makes a significant contribution to the low weight of this new motor. Now found in a wide range of Ford and Mazda products, the Duratec will be the Seven engine of choice well into the future. First introduced in the top-of-the-line CSR, watch this space for more exciting developments as we extend the Duratec installation to the SV and Classic.


Cosworth Duratec 260
The Cosworth-built Duratec 260 package is developed around the Ford Duratec 2.3L.engine. Cosworth adds their own roller barrel intake, high-lift camshafts, uprated valve springs, forged rods and pistons, and head porting to Caterham's race-tested dry-sump system with integral reservoir and internal scavenge pump. It all adds up to the highest-horsepower spec engine offered by Caterham. This installation provides the unusual combination of tractability and fantastic throttle response (thanks to 200 ft-lbs of torque) with the scary high-rpm performance of an all-out race motor. In addition to the basic engine, the package includes the Caterham aluminum bellhousing w/integral swirl pot and dry-sump reservoir, engine mounts, cast aluminum dry-sump pan, kit-ready engine wiring harness, annular clutch slave cylinder & release bearing with hardware, 9" clutch, lightweight flywheel, MBE open ECU, all sensors, alternator, starter, water pump, coolant parts, roller barrel intake manifold, high performance air filter, & Prices listed below are for fully assembled "kit-ready" packages, and include all necessary fittings and hardware for installation into a Caterham Seven CSR kit.

Seven America Ford Zetec Installation
* All "Seven America" Zetec installations are supplied through Caterham USA.

* Any authorized dealer or representative at Caterham USA can help you in determining the specific Zetec installation/state of tune suitable for your motoring needs.

* A $1000.00 deposit (to Caterham USA) will ensure a powertrain delivery date concurrent with your kit arrival date. Your dealer will assist you in placing your order.

* Final payment on engine is due immediately prior to shipment. Installations are delivered fully assembled and kit-ready.      

Ford Crossflow Installation
* Subject to availability, Caterham USA can supply kit-ready, rebuilt 1600cc and 1700cc Super Sprint Crossflow installations. Orders can be placed in the same manner as shown above for the Ford Zetec ($1000.00 deposit, final payment due prior to shipment.)

* Your dealer can also provide further help in sourcing/ordering a Crossflow installation.

* Many customers choose to source and rebuild their own Crossflows. If needed, your dealer or Caterham USA can supply any necessary rebuild parts.  
 
Frequently Asked Questions
* If I order an engine/transmission package for a kit I will be assembling myself, how much additional work will be required for installation?
Ford Zetec installations will arrive as kit ready pre-assembled units. Ford Crossflow installations require some additional assembly using ancillaries that are included with your Seven kit (Weber carbs, air filters, bellhousing, Super 7 rocker cover, flywheel, clutch, sump.) In either instance, everything necessary to get your car on the road will be included with the purchase of a Super 7 kit and a Caterham USA engine package.
 
* What if I want to source my own engine for a kit?
Customers are welcome to source their own engine if they so choose. If the customer is sourcing their own Ford Crossflow engine, Caterham USA or any authorized dealer can assist with rebuild parts if necessary.
